typical, people waving the rice flag. I've seen a few f-bodies and vettes with lambo doors that look really killer if done right.

Its EXPENSIVE and it take a lot of cutting to put those things on. prolly looknig at around 4k realistically

unless it's stock it seems everyone thinks its "rice"

I think it looks really good if done right, and if you like it, that's all that really matters...

check out http://www.verticaldoors.com/cart/vi...php?ItemID=504

actually... i wish I could afford a set... with our big *** doors, it sure would be nice in tight parking spaces...

Whats ricey about vertical doors, is that you first have to open them like a normal door and then raise them up, that could get annoying after a while.

Do what you want, its your car...its going to cost a bit though. I saw them put some on a black C5 vette on unique whips..it turned out pretty awesome to me.
...and to the people that say its "lambo" doors and should only stay on those cars...what about all the people that put z06 wheels on F-bodies...shouldn't they stay on the z06s then? Not trying to start a fight, just pointing out something I think its funny. If everyone followed eachother, all the cars would be the same...then what would the point of modding be.

Yes corvette wheels should also stay in corvettes, to each car its own parts.

vertical doors makes a bolt on kit but there exp to get installed correctly, and they are a PITA once installed as far as you and your passenger getting in and out of your car. they open and pull back, probably giving you 1 1/2 ft to squeeze out... i found a kit for about 250 being sold (a vert. doors kit too) but even at that price with the installation costs it was not worth it to me.

the only thing nice about lambo doors is that you dont have to really worry about someone being parked too close to you.
