Default How to take trans am letters off from doors

I want to take the trans am letters of from the doors on my 98 trans am. I bought Firehawk stickers. Is there a safe way to take of the trans am words without dameging the paint

If they're like the Z28 emblems, a blow dryer and some floss should do. May leave a sticky residue, but nothing a little goo gone can't take care of

random, and in most cases, not helping, but why do you wanna put FireHawk stickers on, if you dont have a FireHawk? But you could try using a skinny blade and cutting off the badge

I have a 98 red convertible and it already has a firehawk hood. I like the look better. Besides every one would know its a fake since there were no firhawks made in 98

like putting SS decals on a Z28, just ain't right but yeah heat 'em up nd some fishing string will do the trick, with the sticky glue left over

Yes, all you really have to do is use a blow dryer, or a heat gun and apply a little heat. They should come off easily. It might take a little work to get the two sided tape off, but it will with some work. I used claybar once I removed all the tape.

I used prybar and hammer....... and then 100grit sandpaper to get sticky **** off.
