The time has finally arrived... Let the painting begin!

This has probably been the most painstaking car I've done yet. This is due to the color, it's a candy so it cant be painted in pieces, but at the same time I didn't want to half *** anything. This meany taking everything apart, painting just the edges of all the parts (whatever is concealed with the car assembled and the doors closed)
The second problem is the base. It is an almost chrome-like silver that shows any wetsanding scratches through, so I didn't dare use a DA sander in fear of machine marks in the base. This meant sanding the whole thing by hand from 320 to 400 and then 600.
Here is the car as it sits now at 2:00 on Thursday
There are 14 layers of material that are going on this car .I am also doing the door handles, headlight lids, front plate and mirrors at the same time as to get the color as close as possible. I estimate I'll be spraying for about the next ten hours.

Here's a quick shot of sealer on it. I don't want to seal it, as the texture of the primer will show in the metallic base, but the base is so fine that not using a sealer will show sand scratches in it. (I tried test panels three different ways)
Here's the first of about four coats of liquid metal base. This stuff s a bitch to lay out because it's over 90' out ad there s only one temp reducer available for it.
