my 98 trans am, was in a serious wreck before i got, but i got it for dirt cheap 2800$$ with 115xxx on the clock, any ways the whole body is warped and my rearend is crooked because of it, and just recently my passenger side t-top started leaking, is this commen with newer models leaking or if i fix the frame will it stop leaking???

Man these are uni-body cars. I have a formula I bought to gut and race but decided to restore cuz it's a 1994 Formula V8 hardtop no option car which you don't find much. It was hit in the pass front from the side and the nose was shifted 6 3/4 inches to the left. I had a guy pull it back over and you can't even tell it was hit both cosmetically and driving wise. He only charged me $300.
If you car is that far off and the guy is quoting you $1000 he is probably referring to trying to tweak the whole car back including the flooring which you can probably see tweaked under the car if you good enough.
