Default Paint removal question

I painted my center filler a while back and I'm curious if paint stripper will work on it for removal. I'm wondering if it can because I want to try something different without spending alot of money on a part I don't need.

yeah it should be fine but dont leave the stripper on there for to long because if its strong enough it will eat into the plastic.

They make a stripper that is specifically designed for rubber and plastic. Do not use stripper designed for metal it will eat the plastic.

You can usually find it in an aerosol can for under $10. Make sure you do it outside in a well ventilated area and wear a respirator.

What he said. We stripped an entire 1976 Chevy pickup down to bare metal with automotive stripper. About 10 minutes into it, we started getting headaches and my nose started bleeding. We had to turn the fans on and open the bay doors. Be careful where you spray that stuff (or you can get it in a paint can that you can brush on). Anything it touches it WILL strip.
