Like New Plug and Play AEM EMS for LS1
This EMS is practically brand new. It was used for one week or less. Plug and play replacement for any 99-02 LS1 F-Body. Excelent condition with <10 miles on it. Latest firmware included. It was used as a part of a tuning project that is now over. I now have no need for it.
Provides real time tuning is literally every option and parameter in the PCM.

===================
The AEM EMS's infinitely-adjustable software allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately deliver proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for ANY boost level or operating condition.
Installs in minutes! Since the EMS is designed to work with your specific car, it can be installed in minutes without the need to modify your vehicle in any way. You literally just unplug your factory ECU and replace it with the EMS. Every EMS application has been specifically designed and tested to use the factory sensors that your car already has. There is no need to mount different sensors or attempt to install different crankshaft or camshaft trigger wheels. Of course, you can replace any sensor you want. With the AEM EMS, it's your choice!
With AEM's new Fuel Automapping software, you can tune your engine in literally minutes! All you need is an accurate air fuel ratio input and then let the ECU do the rest. You have the ability to define the target A/F ratio at 357 different Load/RPM points as well as all the accuracy criteria. Base maps are included! They are what you need to start your car, get a basic idle, make you're A/C work and more. AEM put hundreds of hours into their base maps on stock cars and even drive them back and forth to work in traffic as final tests.
This unit contains the following features:
10-Cylinder Sequential Fuel Injection.
16 General Purpose Outputs.
7 Definable Switch Inputs.
Electronic Boost Control. <-- KILLER FEATURE!
Soft Cut Rev Limiters.
Two-Step Launch Control. <-- KILLER FEATURE!
Fuel Table Automapping.
Programmable Traction Control.
Onboard 512kb Datalogger.
Wet or Dry Nitrous Control. <-- KILLER FEATURE!
Definable Knock Control.
Full Idle Control.
Made in the USA.

Pics coming soon.

Yes. You put it where the stock computer was. Actually, you reuse the aluminum heatsink portion of the stock ECU so it will fit in the tight spot where GM put our PCM's. You run a small data cable into the car, connect your wideband O2 output and thats it. Let the tuning begin. Optionally, you can hook up additional temp sensors, speed sensor, up to 4 EGT sensors, and 2 O2 sensors.
Yes. The AEM EMS converts your car to a Speed Density tune, then uses accel, decel, load, delta, temperature and barometric-based tables for correction. It controls larger injectors better that the stock PCM, as well as has several inputs and outputs that can be used as triggers and indicators. It can control nitrous (wet or dry) no need for timing retard boxes for large nitrous shots, it has a two step rev limiter for launches, it can control a wastegate for boost control on turbo applications, it can control a meth injection system, and more... not to mention it has true real time tuning. The instant you make a change to and table or option, the change takes affect. You instantly see the result in the tuning change.
Also, the software allows you to create "dashboards" to view and tune parameters on the dyno or while driving.
I am not aware of any feature that HPTuners (which is a tuning application, not a EMS) does or can do that the AEM does not.

Edit: Do'h! Now I see why you are concerned about it working with a 98, the OP said it is for 99-02, hmmm... Wonder what the discrepancy would be with the 98's? Looking forward to the OP's input now.

According to some posts on the AEM Forums, the 98 harness plug differs from the 99-02. An adapter to run a 99-02 PCM in a 98 car would be required.
