LS6 intake off of a 2002 Trans-am, was planning on running this on my boosted t/a this year until i dropped it.. Put a small crack in the rear of the intake. Tons of people say it can be fixed and have no problems, many people have done it. I however cant do it with my boost application. Looking for $200 firm. This is a great intake if someone wants to have it fixed or fix it yourrself. Many guys simply use jb weld or a hot glue gun, or a plastic welder if you have the access to one. Let me know. Thanks again, you can contact me via PM or text/call me at (708)-261-9521. Pick up is prefered but if necessary i can ship at buyers expense.

Hey man just want to let you know JB Weld didn't work on my cracked intake. I'm not trying to dog your sale but want you and potential buyers to know. I did end up fixing mine but it was with a different epoxy that I sourced through a local Auto Value. It was pricey as hell at $36 dollars but at least it has held up and it's cheaper then a replacement intake. JB Weld held for about two weeks or so before I got the worst vacuum leak known to man if you can imagine. 5k RPM idles arn't cool if you catch my drift. JB Weld just didn't take the heat or doesn't stick to the our plastic intakes. I've never had it de-laminate like it did in two big peices in all my years of using JB Weld.

just my 2 cents worth, i work in a bodyshop and see my fair share of busted and cracked plastic... 3M has a 2part epoxy called Panel Bond and you take a sand roller or DA sander and knock the top of that crack, clean really well with a pre cleaner and the add the panel bond to the crack with a spreader (kinda like you would bondo) and it will not chip or release, it will be stronger than the intake itself,,, they have different kinds of panel bond mostly by how fast you need it to set
anywhere from 12hrs down to 60 seconds....
not a big deal here to fix the intake ....
Bump for a good price!!!

Marine Epoxy from Ace Hardware will do the trick. In my opinion it is, only because I am a cheap *** and don't mind the 15 min worth of work before installing the intake.
