I have a set of brand new never used head studs for an ls1. These are the ARP Head studs that I picked up but because I'm going with a forged shortblock that comes with a set of these anyway, I'm selling these off. Will these fit 04 or are they the old style? sorry i cant remember when they change or if it matters with the studs

I don't know if these will work for you. I did some research and this is what I found. Looks like you would need a different set of headstuds. However, it also sounds like there was a cutoff time for 04 ls1's where if it were early 04(say February) you could have the old ls1 depth. Check the link below for more info. Push comes to shove call arp and ask them what studs (hex and 12pt) will work for you. Maybe they have a way to look up by vin to determine which ls1 you have. Thanks for looking!!

Head Bolts
03 & Earlier = 134-3609
04 & Later = 134-3610 (w/all the same length hex bolts)

Head Studs
03 & Earlier = 234-4110 (Hex Nuts)
03 & Earlier = 234-4316 (12pt Nuts)
04 & Later = 234-4317 (w/all the same length studs)
