Magnaflow catback with chrome tips. It's too loud for me. I want to trade for something quieter. Any LS1 guys in LA come by and lets hear your car and trade. I'm in the southbay.

Possibly an SLP catback.

Thanks!

PM me.

FWIW, I can't seem to remember anyone saying the magnaflow was too loud...I think about the only thing quieter is the stock exhaust. Do you have cats and everything?

yea i dont have square tips and im glad cuz i dont like em much. my exhaust reminds me of a stock ss or flowmaster but idk. heres a video of what my exhaust looks like cuz my car is in the shop so i cant snap a pic but my tips are not chrome. my exhaust is somewhat quiet at idle but when i get on it the sound is pretty good not too loud and obnoxious

it's only loud because i have longtube headers and a cam. im looking for something that will really quiet it down.

I guess what's loud for one person may not be for another. I personally don't think the Magnaflow catback is loud, and it's widely accepted that it's quiter than the Flowmaster one. Is it possible that you have an exhaust leak somewhere?

pretty shocked, that you want something quieter than magnaflow. Magnaflow is very quiet. Just got rid of mines for TSP Duals and its bad ***.

Really? Well - mine is extremely loud.

What can I do to quiet the car down then, if you all say magnaflow is the quiet-er catback?

Yeah, cats should quiet it down quite a bit (or at least help with the tone/rasp if there's any).

I've also never heard any complaints about the Magnaflow volume, except that it's too quiet, lol
