Up for sale here is a crate LS7 purchased in 2007. This was used in a track car and has probably 2k miles TOPS. The car got hot one time and was shut down. Coolant system was checked and it won't hold temp. Very likely suspect is head gasket. Motor starts right up, no smoke, no consumption of any sort. Motor has upgraded springs/cam. Made 550+whp. ECU with full tune comes with it. I need to keep accessories but longblock is complete otherwise.

Intention here is to build a 5.7 or 6.0 for the car. For the chassis this is in it's simply too much torque and too much motor for the car. I'd be interested in selling outright or trading for a another motor + cash on your part.

This engine is GOOD to go. As soon as it overheated (not even to the red) it was shut down and coasted in. From there it was only restarted once to see if it'd stabilize and went past middle so shut down. It was end of season, so that was it for it anyway. This is a simple repair and your good to go.

Let me know what you need. I can take pics, do compression test per cylinder, shoot vid of it running...whatever it takes. I also can ship this...we have a BIG crate here I can cut down and mod to fit this. Obviously you would need to cover freight charges, but aside from that I'll handle it.

Deal came and went...no market for an LS7 I suppose. Tough motor to sell. I assume I'm going to fix the engine and then put it up for sale at a proper price. Thought someone would jump on an easy deal but...doesn't look that way.

Need an aluminum motor...small weight differences generally may not matter, but in this car it does.

Thought I had a solid deal for a low mile LS2+6k but dude just up and started not taking my calls. Whatcha gonna do? Back up for sale here...ready to go. It's sitting there lookin at me, so getting real tempted to pull the heads, fix the gasket and up the price. Simple deal for someone with the cash and engine in hand.
