Price: $240
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used

LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

This cam just came out of my engine for my "I moved to Cali and had to downsize" mods. This cam ran very strong and loves nitrous.

The camshaft was custom made by Futral Motorsports using the intake lobes of the F13 and the exhaust lobes of the F14. This gives the cam 230/234 .595/.598 114 specs.

Shipping is included in the price to any of the contiguous 48 states.

Honestly, this would be a lousy turbo cam. You want a reverse split for a turbo i.e. 234/230 instead of the 230/234 here. For a turbo, going higher with the LSA is a good idea. However, most people with automatics on here tend to go with a 114 while people with manual transmissions tend to prefer a 112.

Hope it helps,
John

If you set up the engine just right It will Make the best Power with the same Cam NA or Turbo but thats rare, Reducing Overlap Is better than Going Reverse Split IMO, ive yet to see a Reverse Split Cam make better or more Average Power on Any LS engine FWIW

That is a really good point about overlap. This cam has about 4 degrees of overlap which could certainly be improved upon. That is interesting about the reverse split "myth." I guess if you hear something 19,527,634 or so times, you tend to take it as fact. I should know better than that. At least I didn't try to ram it down the guy's throat as a good turbo cam just to sell it. I still think he could do much better for a turbo cam.

Thanks for checking in and for the info.
