The tires were originally purchased in 2006 and didn't see a track pass or street use until 2007. This was the first season that I had returned from Iraq and had a chance to actually mount and use them. I was rotating them with my stock WS6 wheels with street tires. I can't give an accurate count of mileage since I purchased them, but there have only been 4000 mi. put on the car in the past 6 yrs out of a total of 68k for a 2000 year car. It wasn't until later that year in 2007 I went to an ET Street and went to Iraq in 2007 to 2009 again. I found the ET streets to be equally as good as the BFG's, a buddy of mine told me MT's were better and they're not. The tires have less than a full year of drag racing or occasional street use mixed with street tire swaps. Once they were removed they were placed in plastic bags in the garage or the basement and have been there ever since. If there car was ever stored with these tires it was on jack stands. I would put them back on the car if I needed them but my ET streets are fine and have plenty of tread left. It won't be for quite a few years until I have to replace them, I could use some extra money and I also use slicks at the track now. I have perfect feedback on ls1tech and ebay. I would NOT attempt to sell dry rotted tires to anyone! There is no weather cracking because they haven't been exposed to hardly any weather.
My best 60' was a 1.84 with stock 3.42's on a lowered street setup with full weight and a 6 speed car. Unless you're putting down 500 RWHP you will not spin these tires on the street from a roll!
As far as your price goes, these tires in this size go for 279 dollars and change each through tirerack.com. You're looking at 560 dollars for two and with shipping your close to 600. I've never been the type to ask a higher price to allow room for people to talk me down. When I post a price it is fair for both. I personally feel that 250 shipped is a bit low for tires in this good a condition. I cannot just take a deduction of 20% of my asking price or ship them for free depending on how you look at it. I know times are rough now, but I could use some more cash too. If I was to ship them for 200 you're basically getting some like new DR's for 80-90 dollars each. As far as life on a drag radial goes, you can run them until the cords are showing. There is huge amounts of life in these tires still.
