Default Hooker Maxflow muffler (PICS ADDED)

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $65
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): IL
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I have a brand new, never installed Hooker Maxflow muffler. 2.5" in/ dual 2.5" out. I hate to sell it but it's just sitting in the garage taking up space since I'm going a different direction with my car. Would like to get $65 shipped o.b.o.

This muffler would work best for a truck or suv, but will work just fine for a fbody.

Thanks for looking

Maybe interested. I just want to put a good muffler on my car to sound a bit meaner. I dont want to go to extreme yet. Do you know if flows better than the flowmaster ones? I've read a lot off bad comments about them.

Flowmasters aren't bad, there just something I wouldn't want. Everything your reading is peoples opinion. Maxflow's are "suppose" to be one of the best free flowing mufflers out there. Search it on here, theres no bad complaints about them.

Little bit louder than stock at idle. Cruising speed prob won't notice much of a change, but at wot it's one of the loudest.

Sound Off in Quietest to Loudest (Decibels):

1.Borla XS, 80db at idle, 90db at 2,000 rpm, 110db at WOT.
2.Hooker Maxflow, 80db at idle, 90db at 2,000 rpm, 120db at WOT.
3.Magnaflow, 82db at idle, 91 at 2,000 rpm, 114db at WOT.
4.Flowmaster, 82db at idle, 93 at 2,000 rpm, 115db at WOT.
5.Flowtech Warlock, 83db at idle, 92 at 2,000 rpm, 112db at WOT.
6.Dynomax UltraFlo, 83db at idle, 94 at 2,000 rpm, 113db at WOT.
7.Borla XR1, 83db at idle, 96db at 2,000 rpm, 118db at WOT.
8.Bassani Street, 83db at idle, 96db at 2,000 rpm, 120db at WOT.
9.Edelbrock RPM, 84db at idle, 93db at 2,000 rpm, 118db at WOT.
10.Bassani Real Street, 84db at idle, 96db at 2,000 rpm, MAX. (120+db).
11.Flowtech Afterburner, 86db at idle, 94db at 2,000 rpm, 115db at WOT.
12.Flowtech Terminator, 86db at idle, 94db at 2,000 rpm, 119db at WOT.
13.Hooker Aerochamber, 87db at idle, 94db at 2,000 rpm, 114db at WOT.
14.SpinTech, 87db at idle, 97db at 2,000 rpm, 116db at WOT.
15.MAC, 87db at idle, 98db at 2,000 rpm, 119db at WOT.
16.No Muffler, 91db at idle, 103db at 2,000 rpm, MAX. (120+db).

As you can see, it's pretty mellow at low rpm. but she's a screamer at wot haha.

I honestly am not sure about that test ^^^^ But with this thing on, I would say about stock volume at idle, a TINY bit louder at cruise and about stock sound at WOT, very deep and smooth, not very loud at all. Mine is great for sneaking around and not losing any power, love mine, but I take it off sometimes and run no muffler or a flow 10.
