As titles states I have the cam that was in my old 346 combo.. It was spec'd with a NA motor in mind with an occasional nitrous hit.

Quick rundown of the old combo:
this cam
hand ported 317 heads
stock intake/ported TB
1 3/4 LTs ORY magnaflow
373s
4000 converter

Ran consistent 7.3s@95mph in the 1/8 on motor barely spinning with a nitrous tune in 2200+DA. Car weighed in at 3500# this exact track visit.

I switched to a ported 102 setup and got a retune but never made it back to the track.. I was expecting 6.9s-7.0s @ 97mph or so.
The cam performs.

Idle clips... IIRC the idle was a little high here (950). When it was idling correctly (800) it was even a little bit more choppy. It sounded a tad larger than most 226 cams I have heard.

This is boxed up and ready to be shipped.. I will drop it off the morning after payment is received!

PICS:

260$ Shipped FIRM

What was the powerband of the cam? I'm looking for something like this to put in a 346 with milled 243s.
Thanks,
Kory

Those heads should act very similar to the heads I have.

I shifted the car around 6200-6300RPMs.

I have a lot of interest in the cam right now.. This is great for NA/nitrous/FI motors, just a great all around cam.
First come, first serve.

I have the heads that this cam was coupled with as well.... Ported/milled 317s. This setup together ran above average for the setup and would make a killer "budget" build.

That would be a nice combo IMO. I have a very similar cam and love it!

Yes, it is... Nothing has been sold yet.

I am about to reply to all the PMs, I have close to 20 PMs about everything as a package deal and individual. If you want it, send paypal. I am NOT holding it for anyone unless a non refundable deposit is made and full payment will be sent within a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, don't ask.
Obviously I'm going to give the people that want a package a shot at it first as it will be less hassle for me.

Contacted you a while ago about a package deal on the heads, had a few things change. You still have the combo?

For now we are 275$ shipped as I got 5 PMs since the bump last night. If interest drops down, I will lower but it should sell at that price.

I would guess roughly 15K, car was a weekend driver.

Mileage isn't an issue with LS based cams however, not like the old days where a cam would receive wear.

Would you be interested in a trade for a new full nitrous kit with accessories for the heads cam combo? Also have some drag radials available.

Gomer spec'd the cam and did the install back in 2006. Cam defiently has more then 15k miles, as when I had the cam installed the car had around 58000 miles on it.
