Paypal info for anyone interested. I keep this thread and the cams that have sold and that are still available updated every day. So if you see this list and a cam you want is there, chances are we have it on the shelf.

Got my cam in the mail yesterday. If you're having second thoughts about purchasing through Tick, don't. Martin was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and is still in contact a week after I paid for everything. If you ask me I think he might be stalking me! lol but seriously this couldn't have gone any smoother. E-handshake to Martin@Tick.

Martin, best cam you have listed for ls1 408" motor with ls3 heads, gt91/94 turbo. Currently has a 238 248 .586 .596 cam in it. Its a blower cam and wanting a turbo cam. Just trying to get a cam better suited for the turbo I have. Thanks, Josh

I do not have a cam here for sale that is optimal for your application.

What 58mm turbos are you using?

with this one...

235/239 .621/.624 112+2 LARGE N/A CAMSHAFT! NEEDS 3600+ STALL/3.73+ gears! 6800RPM!

would you need to flycut the pistons? I am not used to seeing that much lift on the exhaust side of things. This would be for a LS6.

Max lift has no bearing on P to V clearance.

When the valve is at its maximum lift, the piston is as far away from the valve as it will ever be. It will be on its way to bottom dead center.

The only time you really should worry about valve lift is during overlap. This is when the piston is closest to the valves in it's range of motion.

This cam with stock chamber volume and stock diameter valves will not need to fly-cut. If you have milled heads or larger valves P to V must be verified before running the engine. Fly-cutting may be necessary.

Thanks for this. I am new to the LS world. The car is stock internal for now with no milling to my knowledge. I am not one to gripe at a surging car or driveability as my car is not a daily. With that said, would this cam perform ok on the stock 3.42 rear end for a while?

It most certainly would. A tuner that is willing to spend a little bit of extra time on the drivability portions of the tune wouldn't hurt either.

Hey Martin -

Thinking about this cam "234/244 .612/.595 115+5 BIG CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER CAM! MAX EFFORT D1SC or F1 COMBO! NEEDS 3600+ STALL AND 6800RPM"

I have a 3600 stall, stock short block, D1SC/F1 kit in the works and have been thinking about this cam. How would street ability be on this?

Thanks,
Nick
