Default GI: AFR 205 Heads

Category: Engine - Intake/Fuel
Price: $1600
Location (State): SC
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

The time has come to pull my AFRs for some low compression heads. They've been milled to 56.5cc and have Patriot Gold Dual springs with Ti retainers. The cam I've been running is relatively mild, so even though everything has about 15k on it, I'm sure they're still good. I would even keep them if a buyer didn't want them.

So how much does everyone think they're worth? I'm pulling them this weekend and just want to see what I could get for them. I am thinking of doing a mild 5.3 build in the future, which these would be great for if they'd be worth keeping.

Throw me some numbers! Thanks!

I think 1000 would be fair with that mileage.

I believe pricing is somewhat fair. Used ported factory heads sell for 9-1300 so an aftermarket is definitely Worth more.

Yeah, and if I was shopping, I'd rather spend 1600 on these than 1400+ tax and shipping for new PRC LS6 heads. Nothing against them, but I've seen comparable HP and more TQ with these than guys with those heads and much, much more aggressive cams.

I second that. AFR makes a quality cylinder head. It isn't always about peak flow numbers at .xxx lift.
