T56 shifter boot and retainer ring
Anyone happen to have a broken retainer ring that I can use to make a mold/template to make new ones? even if it is broken in a few places, that's fine, just so all the pieces are there. the boot doesn't have to be the greatest, but I'll need all the pieces of the retainer ring.
Let me know if you have one, and what you would be asking for it, I can paypal you for that and the shipping to Missouri zip code 64120, and if there is anyone local to Kansas City,Mo. would be willing to meet up instead of mailing/shipping.
Thanks!

T56 Shifter boot retainer ring
I plan to make these out of a Semi Rigid Urethane that is nearly unbreakable, unlike the ABS stuff the factory uses.....here's a link to the stuff I use......
http://www.smooth-on.com/gallery.php?galleryid=142
this urethane plastice is very strong and there are different levels of hardness, so, I can make them even tougher if needed. I have also been making speaker housings for 1990 to 1996 Corvettes for a little while now, and have great success with this company's materials.
I can most certainly provide you with a couple of different types to try if you like, I believe the first material I described will by far outlast any factory piece.
my address is :
Hawthorn Generating Station,

Here is a picture of some of the parts I have made from Urethane resins.
Let me know what you think.....
Have a good one!
