I have a spare LS1 block that I'll sell you, but it has not been sleeved. It is in excellent shape if you want to sleeve it.

I'd like to get $350 for it, but make me an offer. I am in the Salt Lake City, UT area.

I also have the stock crankshaft and powdered rods, in great shape, boxed and ready to go.

I don't really know what shipping will cost. I'll have to do some checking and get back to you. Aside from the shipping cost, how much will you offer for the block?

I just got off the phone with UPS. It looks like the shipping cost plus packing materials to New York will be around $180. With that in mind I think I could get it to you shipped for $425.

$40 sounds extremely cheap to have an engine block shipped. I just called FedEx, and they quoted me about $130 without the packing materials. What is your zip code? My zip code is 84097. I will do some more checking to see if I can find something a little cheaper, but I doubt it will be less than $100. Let me know if you can find anyone who will ship it for cheaper.

I have one in the machine shop to have sleeved. They have not done anything to it yet so I will sell it to ya unsleeved for 350 bucks shipped or sleeved for 1200 bucks shipped. The shop I use is very good at sleeving blocks.

They have not done an LS1 sleeve job but have done a bunch of other aluminum engine sleeving like some boat engines and the like and has only had one leak in 7 years. They are very skillfull and I have full confidence in their work. You want the block bored and honed to 4.100 for moly rings or do you want it just bored and ready to be honed by a local shop to you to your pistons? PM me on the hard info on address and such.
