***LS6 block*** Looking for a good, bare ls6 block. stock. untouched.
used/milage means nothing if the block is good.

I just bought a 2004 CTS-V Cadillac with 4084 miles and the ZO6 LS6 400 HP motor. The guy that had it drove into a big water puddle, sucked water up the air intake and locked up the motor. A rod broke through the side of the block right above the starter. My shop in Memphis assures me it's no big deal to cut out the broken piece [measures about 5"x3"] and heliarc another piece of aluminum in place since it's not in a stress place. Along with the block I have the crank, pistons, rods, oil pump, LS6 cam, valve covers, rocker arms and pushrods.

I dont think so, im trying to build a 700+rwhp spare motor for my car, it will be sprayed and beat up hard. even if it is fine, it would be in the back of my mind. Thanks for the offer, sounds like it would be fine for a lower HP rebuild.
