I need a motor!!!
Well i had bad luck with my last forged 347, but would like to have the same setup as last time. I have some money problems right now that wont let me get the 408 but i am looking for a nitrous motor for a decent price. I prefer something cheaper than $5,000 and that can take a 250 shot. I would like to have forged internals, and a good cam and head package as well. Im willing to pick motor up if not to far away so if anyone has anything let me know im really in need of a motor.
thanx

I have a nice 347 long block. Ran 7.20 in 1/8th in a 3650lb car. Would run 6.80's 10.50's in 1/4 all motor, but two bend shift forks, and a wasted clutch never help. It still went 101mph in 1/8th. I'll take $3500 for it. Engine sounds meaner than my race engine. Its 10.8:1 and has a hyd roller, and was daily driven. Has a little less than 5k miles on it. I can take you pics, and send you a list of parts in the assembly.

Josh, its has
Block: 2001 LS6 Block
Crank: New Stock
Rods: Eagle H-Beam 6.125"
Pistons: Ross Flat Top
Rings: Ross File to Fit Rings
Rod Bearings: Fedral Mogul
Main Bearings: Fedral Mogul
Cam Bearings: Stock GM
Bolts: ARP Rod, GM Main, ARP Head
Heads: 241 Castings 306int & 252exh PRC Spring Kit Stock Valves
Cam: Comp 252@.620 109+6 Outlaw Cam
Timing Chain: Roll Master Double
Lifter: Comp R Hyd Roller
This engine has 5k miles on it, Was build last summer around June. Like I stated in the thread motor make enough power to push a all motor full weight car 10.50's A lighter car -600lbs and a 175hp should be enough to put it in the lower 9's Trust me it sounds like it would run over you just because it can. Its the best engine I have had in a good while. I can take you a few pics of it if your still interested. BTW the motor was never sprayed.
Thanks Scott
