no way! It cant be the grounds! 1. I have never touched them. 2. It's not an electrical issue. 3. All components are within range for voltage

Sure they always reset the LTFTs and it shouldn't make any difference. Intakes don't make much difference in an overall tune. Aside from weird turbulance, it sounds like an air idle problem from your symptoms. You can always differentiate the diagnosis by removing the air filter completely as a test.

Intakes don't make much difference in a tune? That's a new one on me. At idle the INTAKE might not make a big tune difference, but the bigger throttle body sure will.
And anything off idle, the FAST will make a big difference in the tune.

I am addressing the original poster who said he changed his intake (#21). A TB significantly changes things, but he did not mention that. This is your first post on this thread. I believe we should work together to help out this guy. Please advise him from your experience. Thanks.

Well I am going to do an idle relearn and see if it will help. My battery was colcranking 225 amps so i replaced it now and it cranks faster and idles out quicker but it stil hangs some. it seems to be correcting itself but really doesn't feel right. Maybe the re-learn will elp but I am sure the tune will be inevitable

I saw that, and based on the fact that he has fast 90/90 in his sig, I figured he replaced both at the same time. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

I think I am going to pull all the plugs and put new wires on the vehicle as well. I believe something is misfiring due to the 8.5mm MSD wires on the car. I think one may be pulled apart but not completely. Atleast I can rest assured knowing I have new plugs and wires. While I am there, I am also going to replace the intake manifold gaskets. I dont believe I used brand new ones and I dont understand how a gasket can just blow but oh well. I have been half assing checking for the problem so I think by doing this I may find the root of the problem or that is atleast what I hope.

Hell I have rusted headers so I may put my pace setters on there just to ward off future problems as well.

So did you replace the intake AND throttle body at the same time?

Did you put the button head bolts in the valley cover?

UPDATE!!! I now instead of having bank 1 and 2 being lean it's only bank one. It always throws a p0300 code and only under WOT does the P0171 code come up.
Changed fuel filter and checked PSI is at 53. Plug wires are all ok. Changed driverside O2 sensor and no dice. My MAP sensor is reading at 55 but for some reason my fuel stft3 are reading a -33.7% as well as ltft4 reading a negative #. Can someone shed some light on what triggers those fuel trims because it doesnt seem to matter at what TPS%? Thanks guys I am only working with an actron scan tool

If you have a misfire there is so much gas in the exhaust that it can read a lean AFR.

problem resolved! fouled injector! not to mention I resecured the map sensor so it fit snug on the fast 90/90 so it may endure a leak-free lifestyle. still have p0300 at idle but I am sure it's from the camshaft.

P0300 was from camshaft and learned itself out after three ignition cycles! My baby is healthy again!
