Default just got my efi live. you all want to check me tune?

i had my car tuned by a local guy that i cant say enough good things about. its a 98 cam only car that has a hsw dry plate thats set to pull 5* at 158*

i bought efi just so i can data log and make slight changes needed be. i think i did it right. i pluged it in to the car then went to flash then read calibrations. then saved it.

im gonna try and attach it see if it works.

one slight issue i have is if im in 1st or 2nd and im real light on the throttle when i let of and go in to neutral and cost it some times goes lean (over 17.1) and some times stalls. also the issue is when i go in to neutral and coming to a stop some times it will dip to 400 and then fix its self.

What injectors are you using?
i see the IFR table is not stock, injectors may need more adjustment for the lean decel.
RAFIG cured my stalling/surging idle.

I think a running log would give us a better idea of how your tune is. I spend more time looking at my logs than the tune. I change the tune using the logs.

Do you have a wideband? You really need one to do a complete tune.
I log a number of items. Spark, Injector Duty Cycle, MAF (if you have one- I do not), IAT, RPM, Retard due to knock, VSS, ECT, TP, MAP, O2's-(I do not have any)+ others. It depends on what I want to tune. I have an idle log just for setting RAFXX.

Good luck. Have you read any tuning info? I have been tuning my car for years. After every mods like headers, cam, heads, etc.

one issue i have is after teh car is warm and its been driven hard the idle will then want to dip and wants to stall. i was doing about 20mph around a corner and put the clutch in and turned the wheel and once i got stright it stalled.

i dont have a log of it but does any one have a pid file saved they can put up so i can just use thoes things to log

i also adjusted my tune slightley from what my tuner left it at
take a look see if any of the idle stuff looks out of wack

Throttle cracker on/off looks a little high,
you might need a little adjustment to desired airflow.
Log RAFIG and see what you get.
Between -.03 and .03 is good.

Both, use your preferred filter(s) then
add the logged RAFIG value to your desired airflow table.
Make changes to the ECT area in which you are having trouble in.

"After the car is warm and its been driven hard the idle will then want to dip".
At what ECT are you at when this happens?

Having the cold start areas inline will prevent soaring cold start RPM.

i have no issues with it cold just when hot.
like after a wot run ill put the clutch in and go in to neurtal and then thats when it wants to dip or stall.

what do you mean by the filters?

Make sure your TP% is 0 when the throttle is closed.
If it is not you will need to reset the TPS.
TPS reset:
with key ON engine OFF - unplug the TPS for 30 seconds
turn key OFF - plug TPS back in

Here are some basic PIDS for you.
IDLE.txt
Rename it IDLE.pid , so you can open it with EFILive and
add what you usually log that is not there (calc.pids for WBO2, ect.),
but don`t exceed 24 channels.

When it happens again look over and remember at what ECT this happened.
You can filter out the lower ECT range where there is no problem.
Save the log before you filter so you can revert back.

If that translates to 0 while throttle is closed.
As long as 0% when closed and 100% wide open there is not any problem.

No,
at the ECT, if RAFIG is over .03 or under -.03,
Add the high logged RAFIG values to {B4307}
Look here for more on Idle Tuning
