Default A/F monitor

Ive been searchin for about an hour and a half now and cant find anything on it so im forced to start a new thread for a simple freakin question. ugh.

of the 4 wires to the upstream o2 sensor, which is the signal wire? I am hooking up a A/F monitor from autometer. and this is buggin the **** outa me.

id like to tap into the wire somewhat closer to the pcm to keep it out of harms way so if anybody has a wiring diagram that would be awsome.

Im confused, you want to hook into the 02 prior to the cat? Your going to monitor the narrow band sensor?

well correct me if im wrong but hooking into the wideband downstream o2 would give a false reading on the gauge because the cat burns off any exccess fuel.

plus my downstreams are in the car but deleted from the pcm. I have no idea how that might effect it all pertaining to what im doing now but id just rather use the ones the pcm is using so i know what its seing.
like say, correct me if im wrong.

Well what do you have, a wideband or an A/F gauge?

The A/F gauges are pretty much just a light show...

Not the best but.... the purple wire in the O2 harness is the signal wire.

2002CAMAROLS1T56, yes thats the guage, got it as the Cobalt version though.

FROST, sorry bought yhe confusment. my apologies. By looking at it i thought it was wideband. i can tell by looking at the car the previous owner had parts on it he removed before he sold it. After I started the thread I got a part number and etc etc and its a factory replacement, narrow band.

Unfortunately it rained most of the weekend so nothing got done
