Different Plugs/Wires mess up tune?
I got new stock AC Delco plugs and new plug wires installed in my car probably 40,000 miles ago. I had the dealer install them, and they said they gapped them to the appropriate GAP.. I have since got it tuned and cammed...
My question is, if I change out the stock setup for some MSD wires and TR55 plugs, will this effect my current tune?
This is the setup I have been looking at:

Thanks for the replies...
Would different heat range plugs mess up my tune then?
..I was reading on another post that some people suggest 1 range cooler plugs for every 100HP?
Thoughts?

I'm pretty new to the whole tuning game, but I have read about people tuning specifically for a specific heat range of plug but then again they are almost always running FI or Nitrous which requires tuning anyway.

Answer is still no. Spark plugs will not contribute enough change to require a tune. They help protect against detonation with colder plugs but I guess if you used to hot of plugs you would have to take timing out, but really it's not the tune it is using the incorrect plugs.
Use too hot of a plug and you get detonation, too cold and you'll get incomplete burns or misfires. That would be a mechanical issue and not a tune issue.

I have had nothing but bad luck with MSD wires and coils for LS1s. The resistance of the wires was quite a bit higher than stock and sometimes would make a cylinder drop out. Plus the cut-to-fit wires have a tendency of falling apart. Stay with stock GM wires. Same goes for the coils. Stay GM.

I have a few friends that are GM techs, and they swear by the fact that if you ever remove a set of stock wires, that you should never reinstall them, new or not.
They warranty every set of wires that have to be removed from a car, as reinstalling them leads to customers returning with misfires in too many cases.
I have a couple of buddies with TT Vettes making 690-780 rwhp, and both run the MSD wires, do you think there is any gain to be had (small or otherwise?) from a swap to different wires?
I'm on my second set of MSD wires, first ones were on for about 3.5 years or so, and I only replaced them cause I ran into another new set for $30.
On the other hand, I have never seen any good come from the coils, GM all the way.
