Default Wont run with 2-bar tune

Ok I am going to make this short and sweet. I have a 00' TA with an 80mm turbo. I am not going to run a MAF so I bought a 2-bar MAP. I got the car running on the 1-bar MAP and tune. I installed the 2-bar and she ran fine on the 1-bar tune. We then switched it over to a 2-bar tune and it pegs out the A/F gauge rich and wont even idle. We played around with the fuel tables and nothing helped.

There is an STS car running a 2-bar setup at the shop so we tried the fuel tables and stuff from that cars tune, same thing. Even went by the HPTUNERS help guide Step by Step and same thing. I then took the 2-bar MAP off that car and tried it, nothing. If we put the 1-bar tune back in it fires right up and idles fine. I am confused.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas?

If you already have the car with a tuner, this won't win you any points; let him figure it out. It's his job.

-edit-

Newport?? My grand parents and several uncles and aunts live there. I have a few cars from Kinston to Beaufort to Havelock that I need to get down there and attend to already

Its not like that. Its just a side project and I was just seeing if anyone had the same problem before. It hardly gets worked on haha.

Yep I have been living here for 7 years now.

Now when you say you installed the 2-bar tune,
that should also mean the 2-bar OS (full write).
I don't see that specifically, here.

Seems kind of whack, 1-bar and 2-bar sensors
both "working fine" with a 1-bar tune. Maybe put
the "2-bar" MAP in there and verify that it reads
about 50kPa, key on , engine off, with the "1-bar
tune" setup. If your two MAP sensors both read
100kPa (-ish, w/ elevation) then you got sold a
wrong part.

Yes it is a full write. Change everything over in HPTUNERS, even with the step by step instructions, then write that to the PCM. I will look and see what it reads the next time I hook up to it.

It's not something to worry about... if you try to flash a 1bar setup with a 2bar file and DON'T choose write-entire, it will give you an OS-mismatch error and abort.

Yeah like I said before it is probably something stupid that I did while putting the car together haha.
