Default P0430...P1133...P1153...and a P0430 PENDING...HELP

I threw these codes the other day...some were already thrown I believe but the car still ran fine...It started running bad about 20 minutes after I went through a carwash and the undercarriage spray happened (related or not I don't know)...Anyway it sounds like it's out of time or a couple cylinders aren't firing...any help...I've been told the O2's will crap out if they get really wet...

I basically need these codes broken down to tell me what to fix

HELP PLEASE

Jeff

that 1133 and 1153 are related to your oxygen sensors.prolly got wet goin through the carwash.have it scan and clear.that 0430 gotta look at my book for the scantool or someone can chime in for info.

I cleared it with the scan tool and cranked her back up and low and behold...still running like crap...i was reading 0430 is cat or downstream o2 on the passenger side...but I'm wondering if all these o2's being bad would cause it to all the sudden run like crap...it's got high flow slp cats and headers and a small cam and crappy tune from back in 02

I'm just trying to narrow it down before I go spend all this money on o2's

Pulled all the o2's and they were all super black of course...It's crazy tho...the only one that wasn't throwing a code...the downstream drivers side...is bent really bad... looks like the motor threw something at it or it got so hot it melted??? That give anybody any clues? I need some definitive help here

The p0430 is the slp high flow cat, U need to remove the cat codes from the tune p0420 and p0430. The lack of switching codes an be multiple probblems, lean, o2 sensors, poor fuel, bad tune, maf sensor. How big is the cam larger cams are notorious for fouling these sensors. I have a 224/224 and wasted the sensors in about 8K miles. Also after installing turbos I began tuning myself and found I made a mistake in the lower end of the ve table causing lack of switching o2s and running problems, increased ve at the low end and it was all good! Hope that helps some!

ok went over there today to checkout jeffs car. It is definetly misfiring completely randomly. Some cylinders are firing everytime, some are firing every now and then and some arent firing at all. i figured that out by running it for a minute or so and feeling the primaries to see which ones were firing. I unplugged the tps to see if that was it and when i did it started running even worse so i know thats not it. I then did the same with the maf and it didnt change whether it was plugged in or not. soooo im thinking its the maf. tomorrow im going to switch another maf into his car and see what happens. What do you guys think?

MAF is a very good possibility if u have a known good one it couldnt hurt to try it! Normaly unplugging the maf will help in a maf related problem but if this car has a larger cam and was tuned by a shop usualy they don't recal the ve table for the cam change because it is time consuming and they just let the computer adjust for the change. Then when u unplug the maf the computer goes open loop fault and runs off of the ve table only which will run bad also due to the fact that the ve table is incorrect for the motor now! Short answer is yea try a maf see what happens!!!

Also I have seen cars w/cold air kits like slp street sweeper style intakes suck up water and w/the cold water hits the hot wire in the maf it can ruin it.

thanks alot. i checked the heater wires on the maf and they looked fine but still can be faulty. His cam is not very big. Its like 218/218. but the tune is back from 2002 so that might have something to do with it. imma change the maf out and report back.
