Default Lean After Nitrous Plate Install?

So I just went for a drive after my nitrous plate install to check and make sure everything is still good and it looks like I'm going kind of lean at WOT which was not the case before the nitrous plate install. I'm guessing that the plate changed the intake tract around a bit and I just need to recalibrate the MAF would I be correct in this train of thought or should I be looking at something else here? The only other thing that could have changed is possibly a vaccuum leak at the intake but all I did was remove and reinstall one intake manifold bolt on each side for the solenoid brackets shouldn't have caused a leak right?

How lean are we talking here?

What was the bottle pressure (or temperature)? What size shot? Is the fuel system modified?

Give us something to work with lol.

This is NA just having the kit installed no other changes other then BR7EF plugs instead of TR6. I won't spray it/tune for the spray until I figure out this little issue first. I also though my LM1 may need a free air calibration, but not calibrating it in a while would make things richer not leaner right?

I've seen a set of BR7s make a car read leaner, over a set of TR6s. Maybe it's just not burning the fuel as thoroughly and causing a false lean?

How does the plug look?

Drove on them so it's not gonna be accurate. I'll be on the dyno next week. Gonna check for vacuum leaks tomorrow, but it still seems like something is off. I guess I'll take it easy until then either way.

You sure it isnt leaking around the plate, NOS fittings etc. Since any leak after the maf will cause a lean condition I would be double checking my work first.

yea X2... maybe spray some cleaner in that area and see if the rpms fluctuate.

Yeah, thats tomorrow's job. I'm a little worried about the hard line compression fittings.

I would imagine you'd have to have a massive leak for the AFR to go lean at WOT. At WOT there's not much vacuum in the manifold, most of the air is coming in from that huge hole in the front known as the throttle body lol.

How is the AFR and fuel trims at idle?

Everything is good at idle, checked for vacuum leaks with some carb cleaner at all the fittings, the plate, and the throttle body and there are no leaks. Any other ideas?

12.8-13.0 before...now it was reading as high as 13.4 before I killed it and drove home nicely.

I've got an idea. Check the plugs or stick the old ones back in and see what happens.

The car I'm talking about, the plugs made it leaner everywhere (idle, part throttle). Though it was a huge cam 408, etc.., but maybe it is just messing with yours a little.

I'm going to the dyno next Friday with a couple fresh sets of plugs to tune for the nitrous. I'll make an NA run and check the plugs to see what the hell is going on first and then go from there.
