Default 2 BAR SD Timing Table...

What does the PCM use to calculate airmass on a HP Tuners 2bar operating system?

basically MAP, IAT, ECT, and RPM, but I'm not sure if that's what you actually asking about.

I am running in the bottom row of my timing table @ 8psi boost and I want to get it back up in the middle. I rescaled my MAF curve which shows it running @1.00 G/CYL @ 8psi but it's not giving me the timing I command. It seems like it's still running in the bottom row but it's plotting higher up in the histogram...

Hope that made sense...

They are calculated by the VE table, the pid in the scanner is a calculation g/cyl=ve*map/iat just keep in mind the ve table is normalized by a factor to give you a percentage.

So am I stuck with running in the bottom row of the timing table?

You likely could adjust the ifr/ve tables so that you are out of the last row.

Besides that, if you ran much higher boost, you could scale your injector and airflow settings.

Often a much easier approach is using an AFR spark modifier. Here is an example of how to set that up: http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showpo...8&postcount=11

Your boost is very low (like 3-4 psi for now) so as long as you are under 12, everything is fine. I am just being general because I don't have your file here on this laptop. It seems to me that it was around 11.4-11.6 the day we worked on it, but I don't recall 100%.

If you send me an email ans ask me to check logs and let you know what the deal was on that day, I'll have a look and let you know. I just got back form vacation late this afternoon though, and have about another 300 or so emails to answer to be back up to date.

I also use that table for a over-boost protection. I just put in -20 degrees whenever I am commanding 1.4 EQ ratio (or richer). Then I went to the boost enrichment and set the commanded AFR to 1.4 @ 170 KPA & up. If I over boost then it will pull the 20 degrees out hopfully keeping it together...

Set that up last night and it worked great! I took 30% out of the IFR and the VE and now @ 8 psi I am at about 1.00 G/CYL in the timing table.
