Stock 26s to Stock 28s, need help
I posted this in the Fuel Injection section but had no success after 60 views. Maybe someone over here can, any help is greatly appreciated.
I just picked up a set of stock 28s out of a 01 TA and I am curious about how to get the tune right. I was under the impression that I could simply update the tune via EFI Live and the correction would be done. Where do I get the information on what variables to change? This is my first injector swap so I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks,
Andy

Hey Andy,
Open your current file in EFI Live and open an 01-02 file in compare. I don't yet know all of the EFIL table nomenclature but the gist is, you need flow rate, offset, short pulse, mim pulse, and default pulse updated with the 01-02 values.
Here is an 01-02 file to get your data from.

Ok, so I talked to my tuner and he said that copying the tables are fine but he would be more comfortable with the tune to strap it down and check it to be safe. At this point he would just tune for the new injectors I assume?
Here's my questions??
1. So do i just swap the injectors in then carry it to him without nothing done to it and let him tune it on the dyno?
2. Or do I go ahead and copy the tables per the 01 tune then let him tune it on the dyno?
Confused?

Cool thanks, quick question. The tune that frost linked for me I can't get it to open properly. It looks like Egyptian? How can I get my computer to read it properly so I can copy the tables? Not good with this part sorry

I saved it off to my laptop, and it opens fine... that's how I did the comparison to tell you which tables to change... You can also go to www.holdencrazy.com and go to the EFILive stock tune repository to get stock tunes...
You can put the injectors and tune with the new tables in, and then take it to the tuner for verification...
