Default help tunning my cam ..
cam specs: 230 236 .581 .581 112+2

got the car tuned by a local tunner but am not really happy with the results .. low numbers + streetability is so bad speacally while A\c on ..

called the tunner back and he's sayin its your cam .. what am missing here ?
supporting mods in my signature ..

Nobody is going to be able to help the tune without what software you have and a post of your tune would help. What tuning knowledge do you have?

It's not the grind of the cam. Now, the pacesetters + cutout; if they are leaking, nobody will be able to fix your car with a tune. Fuel trim data, post WOT tuning, while doing drivability tuning will reveal this...My last trip to the Kingdom was in 07. Beautiful.

took the car to a local tunner in here .. i don't tune it my self .

I've been there three times and loved it.

Without the tune and logs,there isn't much to do.

I remember when I had my heads and 228R installed and the local tuner said he couldnt get the bucking and surging to stop because it was the cam design.

Then I bought HPT, learned how to tune a car, and fixed it myself.

Several very good tuners with knowledge and passports on here LOL. Myself, Doc, I'm sure at least one or two others.

Even the most radical cams can be tuned to drive pretty decently.
