WTF!!! lost .5 sec. off my ET after upgrades.
Ok I had a cam(228/232 588/595 114lsa), intake(96mm typhoon), TB(95mm PTM), and set of LS7 injectors(42#). And had it tuned.
Now I went from running a 12.45@111mph to 12.91@114. I know that I did pick up in speed but not that much, this setup is on a LS6 long block. I have a 4L80E(3000 stall), and 3.42 gears in a 12 bolt. Ran the same setup with the stock LS6 with the 12.45 ET. WHAT GIVES?

You picked up 3mph, so that's about 30rwhp gain... Your 60' obviously had to be worse than the earlier run. Sounds like its time to stop spending money on power and start spending some to get it to the track...

Ya I did lose some on my 60ft, cant remember exactly what it was.
Heat hell ya it was hot, that could be alot of it.
One of my friends that helps out with most of my work says that it may just need to be geared down now. 3.42 to 4.11 would be a big change. You guys have any input on this?

Diff gears will get you into the happy spot of that cam quicker.
But you need to work on your suspension and tyre setup to get the best out of the extra power.

He picked up MPH - it's making more power up top - nothing to do with the heat...
If it dead hooked and still lost from the 60', then you need to log it at the track and find out what's up... your losing a lot of power down low. Might be knocking... I've seen plenty of cars that didn't knock on the dyno cause they were strapped down - get to the track and launch it and exhaust rattles, etc can cause it to knock off the launch and it lays over... That cam should not lose power down low over the LS6, so something is up.
