How do you know what tune you have?
I just purcahsed a 2002 ws6 from a dealership and I know that there is a tune on the car. Shifts hard, the traction lights goes off after 3 seconds of the car starting. It has quite a few mods on it, not to mention the steel braided line that was hiding under the hood. (they didnt pull the no2 feed line out)
Is there a way that I can tell tell what tune, if it was a handheld or a custom tune that is on it?
Thanks

What do you mean by the key?
I have nothing on the car and have no idea what type of tune is on it.
So the only way of taking care of this would be finding a stock computer that has not been flashed in any way and installing it on my car.
Thanks for the help!

Could I possibly just take it to a dyno shop and let them hook it up to their tuner and see what mapping is on it and go from there?
I wasnt sure if they can tell
(It is just that I dont trust shops and I would like to know what is going on before I took it there, cause I know they are in the business to sell and it owuld be very easy to sell a tune if I dont know what I am looking at)
Thanks

If you have a friend with EFILive or HPTuners, have him read the tune from your PCM and then compare against known stock tunes.
For the VE and Spark tables, you won't be able to tell if they match your mods just by looking at them... they have to be arrived at by tuning with a wideband on a dynomometer.
