EFI Live....but its used and the old version!

EFI Live....but its used and the old version! I have a chance to buy EFI Live for $300. It is used and it is also the older version. Can I use this or do I need to buy it new. I know on HPtuners that it needs to be registered, etc... He is saying on EFI Live that is not the case and I just want to make sure I will be able to use it before I spend $300.
For background info. I am using the stock wiring harness and pcm, 160lb low impedence injectors with resistors.

I bought EFI live used but it was basically unused since neither of the 2 licenses it came with were used.
If the original owner used both licenses, you will need to purchase another for your car for $100.
Is it the V1 or V2? V2 has a larger controller:

Thanks. I just texted him to find out about the license and which one it is. I'll post back as soon as I get a response. I also need to know if it is compatible to run a 3 bar map sensor?

we dont charge for custom operating systems for computers, so 3 bar compatibility will not be a problem.
ALL Efilive cables that are set up with tuning include FREE unlimited 98 computer programming, and 2 licenses. You can always add another license to the cable and you still have a better than new price.
IF not, call me, i can hook you up with a deal on a V2.

Which interface is it, V1 (no LCD) or V2 (LCD)...?
If V1, then ask if it was used towards upgrading to a V2; if it was used in an upgrade, then no new licensed can be added to it, so check how many licenses it has left (you will need 1 license for flashing your PCM). If you have trouble determining this, send the serial number of the interface to EFILive and they will tell you if it was used in a upgrade.
Like wait4me said, 1997 Corvette and 1998 Corvette/Camaro/Firebird are flashed for free (no license required).
