The 2 or 3bar OS is not limiting you to those particular map sensor's though, that just defines the capabilities of the VE table within the OS. You can install a 3bar OS and use a stock map sensor if you wanted to but it would only read up to the 105kpa load point. Basically put the 3bar OS in it and then use whichever sensor you want to use and input the map sensor calibration and you'll be set. Some people like the motorola 2.5bar sensor, it can be used but will only read up to ~250kpa using the correct sensor calibration under Eng Diag. tab.
