Default When to throw it on the Dyno?

I started up the LS yesterday and got the ~30 mile oil change done. I feel I probably have 35 miles on it right now, still running break in oil.

When should I dump the break in oil, put regular back in and dyno tune it? Or dyno it with break in oil?

We dyno them with under 1 mile. I like to dyno them to seat the rings ASAP.

Exactly. When to dyno? As soon as it has oil pressure, and you know it has no leaks LOL. I usually like to heat cycle them once, check for leaks, and go over the car to make sure stuff like no hose clamps are loose, the wheels have been torqued, little things like that.

The GM performance instructions I had said not to exceed 4K RPMS....

So drain the break in oil and send it in with VR1 conventional?

I have been driving it around at various RPMS, engine breaking ( I have manual trans), going up and down some hills etc.

I have about 4 or so WOT runs (4-5K MAX rpms),

I had comp cam break in oil in it for the first 30 miles or so. Now it has about another 30 miles on it with Royal Purple break in.

I just didnt know if there were crazy restrictions with break in oil as the bottle says not to use it past 2500 miles.

Nobody knows if its good/bad/indifferent to dyno/tune with break in oil?
