I just bought this book a week ago. Great information, I am about 100 pages in to it.

That book has been the single best investment I've made for tuning. I read the Greg Banish book and didn't feel like I got much out of it.

The other book seems much more specific and detailed. It also includes specifics of using both HP Tuners and EFI Live complete with screenshots.

I highly recommend it.

I agree, a very well written book. You don't need an engineering degree to figure out what he be discussed.

As I was reading it, I felt like the mystery of tuning was being dissolved. Everything made sense and between the descriptions, examples, and screen caps it is very easy to follow along.

The book has 3 detailed examples for each program as to how to tune a stock car, a modified (cam, boltons, nitrous) car, and a forced induction car. He goes through the tuning process step by step. You can literally follow along with the book while tuning and other than needing to experiment and find your own values for the fields will come out with a usable tune to work with and fine tune.

I have the same book and have read it from cover to cover. I haven't tuned my car yet but that book gives me a more positive feeling that I can tackle this "tuning obstacle" on my own.
