Default HP Tuners packages with NGK/AEM/Innovate

SDPC is proud to offer a large variety of products that can be combined to provide a complete tuning solution for all of your LSX tuning needs. If we don't have a bundle that meets your needs already listed, just let us know and we will put one together!

Check them out on our website to see HPtuners pro bundled with AEM, Innovate, and NGK widebands starting at just $750. You can also get it packaged with the Tuning School book if you need a jumpstart on learning how to get into tuning right away.

https://sdparts.com/category/compute...mers/hp-tuners

Also an option that isn't listed but I can do for you if you hit me up for pricing would be a change to the AEM 30-4900 gauge that combines boost and wideband A/F into one gauge!

The AFX gets my vote for anyone looking at this set up! Short of spending thousands on a "lab grade" one, it's about as good as it gets. Not as pretty as some, but if function is your goal, get the AFX

I have a question what's the differences in the hp tuners versions. Looking at getting a older one but don't know if I can upgrade it to the newer version.

As far as tuning capabilities are concerned they are identical. The Pro adds inputs to log things like your wideband a/f sensor (or fuel pressure or anything else you have a gauge or other output from that you'd like to log) reading IN hptuners alongside your other data. It also adds the capability to "black box" datalog without your computer in the vehicle, and then that log can be transferred to your computer when you get home.

That's a pretty good package you guys put together. Maybe one day I'll add a wideband to the mix.

I will let you know after this weekend when I set it up the software and start with the basics (deleting CAGS, tuning out my rear O2s, deleting AIR, turning my fans on sooner). That is the plan for this weekend. After I get deeper into the course I will install the wideband and get to the real tuning.

Thanks for the good words Orthopod. I hope you love it! Modding is so much easier when you don't have to rely on anyone else for every small tuning change!

I'm thinking about ordering HP tuners instead of taking my car to a tuner. Reason being is that both previous owners claim it was tuned by Jeremy Formato. I'd really hate to pay $650-750 for a tuner to claim that the tune is off and it's really just fine.

The car seems to run fine, I'm just wanting to make sure everything is within safe limits.

The car also came with an AFR gauge, which I'm assuming I can use as the wideband and just order the software?

Here is a picture.

HP Tuners packages with NGK/AEM/Innovate-yxdbhu7.jpg

It's currently SD tuned. I've never tuned before. Also having a stall put in the car this next week and the tuner wants something like $180 to deal with the trans for the converter. I'm assuming I could do it myself relatively easy compared to tuning the engine.

So, in total I would have to spend almost $1000 in the next week for tuning on my car. Or I can order hptuners and learn myself...

Not trying to hijack your thread. Curious if my gauge/wideband is fine or would I need to order the NGK AFX package since I don't really need another gauge in the car.
