Default How to add a 4l80E to my tune??

Im changing trans from a TH350 to a 4L80E. I contact HPtune, and they said my OS wasnt compatable. I used a truck harness so I can just add a VSS. I also have HPtuners I just dont know how to swap it. A friend on here gave me his tune he run a 4L80, and the only difference I his combo, and mine is he has 3bar SD with 80bl injectors, and I have 2bar SD with 60lb injt. Anyone can tell me how to use his tune to run this trans? Also like to keep the 3bar. Other than that we have everything the same.

I do all my segment swaps with EFI Live then tune them but efi live wont reconize a hpt custom os so you would have to segment swap stock tunes first and then upgrade back to 2 bar. What year and OS are you using?

Im not sure what your asking, but I got the HP kit December of last year, and did a upgrade 3 weeks ago. Im not really savy with all the tech info used, so maybe I need to take it to someone who know what the heck all this means. I just got the kit to fine tune my car.Being that I purchased all my tunes, and kits form Frost. I called Frost to ask for his help, but all he would say was he wasnt touching it cause I used a 6.0 block, instead of a high dollar one! That kinda pissed me off for him to say (Go spend another 10,000 on a block!) I get the feeling he got so much he turn down what he dont feel is worth his time. So trying to figure it out.

Yes LSX was very helpful, and took time to explain my options. I also have the stock PCM that came with my engine 1999 2500 chevy truck, it had a 6.0, and 4L80. Im trying to make up my mind which will be easier to do! Im still waiting to get the convertor, and driveshaft for the trans so I can install, by then I will know which way I need to go, but If I cant get it right I will be sending it to LSX, thanks for taking the time to talk to me.
