Default Misfire? Transmission issue?

Pretty much stock 02 TA with 34K miles, Auto with Street Fighter convertor and mail order tune.

Car does this crazy RPM cutout when cruising at around 70-75 mph and after about 10-15 minutes of driving. I've not noticed it at any other speed. Please check out the video below.

Ignition issue? CPU? Transmission? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Probably misfire detection due to the aftermarket converter.

It isn't throwing a code, will a code reader pick up anything from the PCM? The car has run fine since the convertor and reprogram. Maybe about a year ago, this just started. I took the battery leads off to reset the PCM but no dice.

No, it wont throw a CEL.

Well emailed the tuner that did my mail order tune. The misfire detection is already turned off as part of my tune. Since the car ran fine for 5/6 months I'm thinking this is a mechanical issue. Really bummed, TC was brand new from Summit, Trans was rebuilt maybe a little more than 1000 miles on it but well less than 2000.

Thought I'd follow up, checked for codes and got a P1870 (slipping tranny). Car seems to strain from 1-2, when it starts slipping in OD, I shift to 3rd and then back to D. That clears up for a bit but it happens again after a few minutes. I think I'll post on the transmission forum and see what those guys think, I'm pretty sure this is not a PCM issue. Thanks all for the help.

1870 is almost always the TCC clutch slipping. I've seen several TCI converters with bad TCC clutches after just a few thousand miles. So many that TCI converters are on the bottom of my list of converters to use. And when they go out they put trash all through the transmission.
