Default question about hp tuners

i seen they offer 6 months free software upgrades and charge 99.00 for an extra year, now what if someone doesnt purchase the additional upgrade, does this mean that the program wont work after a while down the road when new updates come out? what are the cons of not purchasing the additional year for upgrades? and if someone does pay for the year, what happens after the time is up and they come out with more upgrades? sorry for being a pain

The software updates are free for the first 6 months. The program will continue to work after expiration of this period, but you will no longer receive free updates. Software updates include bug fixes, expanded features, etc. You can purchase the extended software support at any time for the same price.

You will never have to pay for bug fixes.

There are so many features we want to add in our software and are doing so as we speak. Wait till you guys see our newest release! Those that purchase the extended software upgrade plan will always recieve our newest software with all of the new features we implement.
