Default HYPERTECH I'm calling you out!

I bought a hypertech tuner three days ago new for $300 I really like the adjustments for my auto camaro but all of the things I've heard about the power tune are alarming. Everyone says the tune is too lean and that it's garbage, what does hypertech have to say?? Can I get some people in here to testify this? Hypertech, almost everyone in the ls1 community thinks your power tune is bad and complete trash and just about no one will reccomend you, show proof why it's not, OR how about you fix it and make a better power tune for us to download and give the haters nothing but good things to say!? Please make a new tune setup that kicks ***! Your better than this!
The reason I posted this here is because I've seen hypertech on these forums before and I would respect him If he showed up here

I bought it without doing research, I quickly regretted it though it wouldn't b so bad if they would just update the power tune!

HYPERTECH sucked back in the day when there were no other choices. Now that we have no fewer than 10 alternatives, there's no excuse to buy that ill-conceived product.

You can get a used DiabloSport Predator for under $200, if you look around. At the top end, you can get HPTuners for around $500 and either learn to tune, or have someone tune the car for you.

Hypertech is absolute junk! A friend of mine bought a WS.6 with a Hypertech tuner on it, it was pinging from detonation so bad I thought someone literally had a coffee can with rocks thrown in the engine bay somewhere. We had a friend with HP Tuners and put a street tune on it, felt like a completely different car. He did some bolt ons and then dyno tuned it. Don't waste your money with handheld if you want the maximum potential to be met. A good dyno tune from someone who knows what they are doing is the best.

Ok I guess im returning or selling it, but what tuner will work with the 1998 PCM? Hypertech was the only one I found for 98's when I was shopping around for a tuner.

Diablo's canned tunes are garbage too. I took it upon myself when I got HP Tuners to read the file in my car. Jacked up timing tables is about as good as it gets - PM me for an example.

As for learning how to do it for yourself: Yes. Seriously, learn how and trust no one.

And, there's no licenses needed on 98's.
