Default Speedometer Output w/ Holley Dominator

Question for the holley dominator guys. I am running the holley dominator ecu on my ls3/4l80e build. I am also running a Dakota Digital VHX gauge package. My question is if it is possible to have the Dominator output a speedometer signal that I can then input into the VHX control box? And if so what sort of signal needs to be output, and how should it be configured?

Disclaimer: I have searched the interwebs for a few days and haven't found out how to output a speedo signal, only how to add a vss sensor to a vehicle without one....

I would ask on the Holley Forum, Danny Cabral seems to have the answer to almost anything to do with the Holley EFI systems.

If you go into the Holley software under transmission tab then "transmission setup" Look for "enable speedometer" Then click on the PIN MAP tab and then click on "view outputs" This is where you will drag the "P+speedo"
down to the pin you want to use when that's complete hit the done button at that point you have enabled the output to the pin you selected, Now you will need to know what signal your speedo is looking for, The manufacturer should be able to provide that information. You can change to those settings under the transmission tab also.

I'm new to this myself and what I have just told you is what I have figured out by playing around with the software to get familiar with it before I have the system installed, It should be enough to get you going in the right direction.

I have a similar concern. I'm using the new Holley touch screen with the Holley ECU. Will the speedometer signal transfer (M6) ? Or do I need to add hardware/software.

If you have a T56, you need to make a harness for the VSS. For a 4l80/60 the transmission harness includes the VSS. I just did this for my Cougar project.
