Trouble tuning twin turbo 5.3 with Hptuners log and tune inside
I am having a hell of a time trying to get this thing dialed in. Its my first time tuning a vehicle but I have spent an enormous amount of time reading and learning all I could before I started. The first mistake I made was using someone else's tune to get an operating system that I could use a 3 bar SD tune with. This changed almost every table in the tune but I went back through and changed them back to stock. With that said, to get the car to run decent my VE table has to be jacked way up. On top of that it won't idle well unless the AFR's are in the 8's. I think I may have bad injector data but I am not sure. Any help is appreciated.

Your really going to have to get good injector data and then look at other things. I did notice your ve table is messed up but this mean nothing if injector data is not correct.
Your afr gauge reads down to 8:1? If so that can not be right.

Where can I get Injector data for the siemens deka 80's I have? I bought them from my cousin who never used them but I didn't get any data with them.
Why wouldn't an AFR gauge read down to 8?

The injector flow rate follows the fuel pressure.
That said, if you are running a typical GM system at 58 psi, that injector data is wrong. it's too low.
The Banish data pretty much assumes you are running GM fuel pressure of 58 PSI. Which makes those 80lb injectors more like 89lb injectors.
It looks like all the data is wrong actually. Volts vs kpa, short pulse adder, min pulse width etc.
Also, folks typically run a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. Are you?

Right now I am running the corvette FPR. When I do a cam swap and turn up the boost I was going to switch to a boost referenced FPR. Just waiting on money...
Well even though its all wrong, its encouraging news. I've been beating my head off the wall trying to get this figured out. Do you know where I can get the Banish injector Data? I definitely do not have 250 dollars for a DVD. I have spent a couple hours online trying to find the data with no luck also.
Thanks Ron!

Sorry, my bad. I did not think it was a big deal cause everyone seems to run these injectors. Is my only option to buy his DVD? Is his data the only way to make my car run right?
Sorry for all the questions but this injector data stuff is the only thing that I am having trouble wrapping my head around. And again I appreciate the help that everyone is giving me.

That makes sense, I'm not trying to do anything against the law/rules. Either way if anyone cares to take a look is there anything else obviously wrong with my tune? or will the injector data fix what I have going on?
