Question about HPTuners log
Anyway, during a long scan I noticed my TCC slip percentage up to about 208%. The PCM ocasionally sets the usual P code relating to "transmission component slipping". Is this the sign of a bad converter ?
Use this to set your shift points. You may need to play around, but this will get you into the ballpark.

Do you have your TCC Duty Cycle set to 100 for Maximum and 90 for Minumum? You don't want the converter "slipping" into lock-up. That'll ruin it. It won't help your slip numbers, but might stop any further damage.
Also, are you sure it's locked? Are you running a MAF tune? Any misfires detected and it'll unlock the converter. So you have to set the misfire table to the max (32700 or whatever) to desensitize. If in SD, that's done automatically.

This is a completely stock 1999 PCM/tune. I assume MAF ?
I didn't mess with the duty cycle, but maybe I can increase it to help a dying converter until I can have the tranny rebuilt/looked at ?
