Default WOT issues HP tuners

Hi guys.

2002 WS6 tick turbo stage 1 cam CNC'd 243 heads BTR springs and upgraded pushrods. 36lb GTP injectors. QTP headers. Volant air intake. Straight piped

I've been attempting to tune this car for about 6 months. Kept running into parts failing and having to replace them but I think we're finally done.

PROBLEM: no matter what I do, I can't get a good PE. Always feels like it is lean. Tuning with a Wideband (drivers side after the headers) and its reading correctly. I'm just at my wits end and don't know what more to do.

VE tables are spot on all the way across. Knock occurs every time it feels like it detonates. Replaced the plugs. Checked everything. All good. No leaks. Idk.

Please Help???

Changed the tip-in, desensitized the knock sensors since it's got solid motor mounts and upgraded Valvetrain. Changed the Global Gain. Changed burst knock. Completely desensitized to see if it was Ghost Knock. No luck

Did you try reducing timing in the areas that you have knock?

How much timing and boost are you running? What a/f ratio are you at?

Not running boost yet. Everything is 14.7ish except in the higher kPa where PE kicks in

If you haven't already, check your fuel pressure.

Your cam might be off. I've only seen what you described one other time, and that was on my car when the first cam I got for it was ground nine degrees off.

It's a quality cam from Martin@tickperformance. I seriously doubt it's ground wrong. They have super high quality control there. I have quite a few log files bUT I can't figure out how to attach them in here

tick doesn't grind their own cams. They used to have comp grind them. Now they use cam motion. If you got a cam motion grind I would say you're fine. If you got a comp grind, it would be worth putting a degree wheel on it.

If it's fine in first and no other gear, that could point to a transmission problem - except for the KR

Your wideband reads a flat line at 14.75
Car shows it's entering PE.
There appears to be something wrong with your wideband......

Yes sir. I put it in fully closed loop in that run. I have a new exhaust on the car that I have yet to weld in a bung for the wideband so I swap the drivers side o2 out for the wideband when SD tuning and MAF tuning.

Here's one with the wideband in. This one is also done before I desensitized the Knock Sensors

Your PE is commanding really rich, should be in the 1.17-1.14 range. Are you sure you wideband is logged correctly in HPT when making changes from the wideband readings? I think your fueling is going to be off. What are your fuel trims normally? There are alot of little things that can be changed in the tune still.
