Also as a side note, VE can be calculated from MAF as follows:
VE[g*K/kPa] = MAF[g/s] * DAT[K] * 120[s*rev/min] / RPM[rev/min] / MAP[kPa] / N

and for N=8 cylinders this becomes:
VE[g*K/kPa] = MAF[g/s] * DAT[K] * 15[s*rev/min] / RPM[rev/min] / MAP[kPa]

where DAT[K] is dynamic air temperature (air temperature corrected/modelled for manifold heatsoak).

The implication of this is that you can correct the MAF (with VE disabled) and calculate a new VE from it ( if the injector tables are correct )

In EFILive there is also a VETABLE lookup pid which allows you to do the inverse of the above, i.e. correct the VE (with MAF disabled) and calculate a new MAF from it.

That's awesome, Joe.

I'll see if I can map that into HPTuners with some custom PIDs. I know it's possible in EFILive.

Last time I tried in HPT, I kept getting an error.

Any update, progress with an algorithm to display VE table in units of g/sec in HPTuners ?

The scanner does this while logging.
