VE table needs a lot of work. Did you fail the MAF properly? Can you post tune and log?

Your MAF is not failed properly. Your displacement is stock. Set the MAF DTC's to MIL on First Error. High RPM Dynamic Disable to 12000. MAF failure frequecy to 0 or 1 HZ. VE table... I had to LOWER my tables, not increase them after I was cammed. What version of HPT? You need a STFT error vs MAP histogram/chart. Post your layout or config file.

I had the opposite problem. My bench tune was way too lean and the engine would not stay running. The only way to keep it running was to unplug the MAF and IAT so the ECM would divert to speed density. This took at least 5 successive start attempts before the ECM realized there was no MAF or IAT connected.

Generally speaking yes, you have to lower them down low, then they even out for a very short period, then, they need to be added to the farther you go. Other than that, 100% on the head right here!

Correct. I should have stated in the idle area. My bad. Is the OP still here? I just saw his PM from the 23rd and I just responded. SMH. Ive partying too hard over the holidays. LOL!
