Default Messed Up BAD!!

I messed my car up with HP Tuners. For starters I didn't save my stock tune and can't revert back to it. Then, the USB driver that came with the software had a tune on it from a 2002 Camaro SS, so I copied that tune and uploaded to my car not knowing what I was doing. Any time I try to rewrite it or read it won't work. There is also a buzzing sound coming from my fuel pump relay under the hood. I also tried to do the VIN change but it didn't work. I don't know if I fried the PCM or what? Does anybody have a clue what I can do?

sometimes that will happin when trying to use another tune. ive had it happin when trying to do a segment swap. Your best best is to go into the hptuners tune repository and download a same yr model OS as yours and try it.

I'm just starting with HP Tuners so I only know enough to be dangerous. Like said, go to HP Tuners repository, download a stock tune. Search youtube for the tuning school and they have a video that shows how to copy the stock tune over to yours and your vin.

if u have the newest 3.0 version u can use the segment swapper tool. As long as the OS match u can copy the stock tune file onto yours. Google hptuners segment swapper how to. Its easy.

I am really stuck... I tried this morning and it kept saying failed when I tried to upload the tune. I watched how to do it on "thetuningschool" channel on YouTube, but still had no luck. copied over the stock tune and changed the VIN, but no help.

What year is your car? I can send you a stock tune for it.

Car is a 2001 and the only stock tune I have is the one in the repository on HPtuners. If/ when I need a PCM which one do I get?

Another side note, I check the prongs where my fuel pump relay is and it was only getting power to one side. Is this probably related to the tuning issue?

Auto or M6? If you want you can ship us your PCM and we can test it and if its good load a stock tune in it for you and ship it back.

We also sell used pcm's that we can set up for your VIN and car with either a stock tune or a custom tune and ship it to you to save down time. If you want to discuss your options give us a call tomorrow. We are open 9-6 central time.
