Yes WOT, it's open about 40% at 2 mph but takes until over 30 mph to get 100%. I would like to see it WOT about 15 mph so some tm is still working.

You would have to use HP Tuner to view my log and file.

This is the only table I see that may be applicable under tm. But the factory numbers seem fairly high.

DI calibrations are a whole new way of doing things. You should be asking this on HP Tuners Gen 5 forum where people are trying to figure them out.

I did that back in February and nobody seems to know what to do to control this.

Bump it back to the top. Like I said people are still learning the Gen5 stuff. Maybe something has come to light since Feb. Especially on a 2017.

BTW, are you the Larry that sold the improved idler pulleys for the f-bodies many many years ago?

There are posts as early as three weeks ago on that link and seems nobody still knows.

Yes, I'm that Larry! Sold a few more other than just idler pulleys too prior to 1998.

Sorry I only looked at page 1. I'd still keep bumping it. There are a few people over there that seem to have figured out more than others on the Gen5 stuff.

I thought so on the pulley. I'm still running one on my 99. If I remember you only made about 50 of them.

I must have missed that thread...
oil starvation needs disabled and you have to mod the DD and peak tq table correctly

the reason is takes so long to open TB 100% is due to not seeing enough tq

Think of it as not "making" the ECU see enough power so it only OPENS the blade enough To make the desired output you are telling the ECU your trying to make

Disabling the oil starvation is easy. Now to determine the values required to get the throttle open sooner.

This is A table. There is also a C I would assume needs tweaking.

increase the DD in A-C (the smaller Throttle areas need more love)
also increase Peak tq too

I can get the desired and actual throttle to match and go straight up when making a 100% pull (no delay)

Maybe something like this? A and Peak tq increased 10%.

Thats a start but it will need more then 10% in the low cells..
peak tq in the lower RPMs will need more too..

notice the VSS is not in MPH (do the conversion in the scanner table)
the first column is very important in modding the 100% at 0mph or very low speeds...

I'll give you another tip the really negative values helpnwith engine braking... I personally hate that... I would cut those values in half..

also from the factory the DD table can cause tq management sparkncut with regular driving... fixing the really NEG values can fix that at low TPS throttle response
