Temporary tune?
I'm in the process of modding my motor and will need a tune, but what can I do in the meantime to at least get it to a tuner or have someone near me help with it. I'm adding this to it and have a feeling it's not gonna run too good or not at all after I'm done. If someone has similar mods and can send me a startup tune, that'd be awesome. This is what I am adding to my car. 1-7/8 headers, ported/polished 243 heads, Doorman LS2 intake with a Warr 92mm throttle body and a Lingenfelter gt12 cam with these specs. .614/.621 227/235 115 LSA
The biggest tuning question is I'd like to lose the MAF and stick with speed density since the MAF is so much smaller than the throttle body and it's gonna be a PITA to use with my setup. How do I tune the MAF out of the car? I'm using HP Tuners by the way.
Thanks for any help!

Was it stock before this? If so, idle will probably be the only thing that's gonna cause you a problem. Your PCM will still hold a fairly stoich mix, but it will most likely stall every time you let off the gas until you have someone get your idle figured out.

Only thing done before this are the few things in my sig. Only things I changed the tune on was torque management and turned off the codes off the error reporting for the 02's, evap, and air pump.

Don't have one. I've been doing it myself. Just wanted something to get it to a regular tuner to get it dyno-tuned. Want to get rid of the maf and figured it's gonna run like crap on the tune it has now.
